From Civitavecchia, the port of Rome, we flew south to Palermo, explore the island of Sicily.

Our next stop was Agrigento, home of the legendary Valley of the Temples.

We travelled inland to the Villa Romana del Casale, near Enna—an extraordinary Roman site tucked away in central Sicily—before continuing on to the coastal city of Siracusa (Syracuse), our final stop.

We felt incredibly lucky to have been graced with beautiful weather throughout Sicily, which made every stop all the more enjoyable.
