(December 2017) It took Sheila and Wei 54 hours to get to Puerto Jimenez from Edmonton but it was worth the effort as this is the best of the two previous visits here.
This is a great story to tell. Several photographers with big lenses were already waiting at the top of the hill for an hour or so. As we climbed the slope, our guide pointed out the Quetzal's location and without hesitation, I fired over 50 shots before it flew away. These were the few good ones. Unfortunately, no one else captured it!
