In 2008, following a Christmas visit with Wei's parents in Singapore, we flew to Siem Reap. Upon our arrival at the airport, we were warmly greeted by our tuk-tuk drivers from The Villa Siem Reap, where we had booked a 5-night stay. The package we booked was a great bargain, which included comfortable and spacious bungalow accommodations, meals, transportation, and tours.
During our stay, we went on daily excursions that covered a lot of ground, exploring the numerous temple complexes that were spread out over many miles, as shown below.
